At JEES Inc., we strive to provide accurate home quality appraisal and reporting services to help protect our clients from potentially hazardous toxins, radiation and pollutants in their environment.
JEES performs home inspections specific to indoor air quality (IAQ) hazards. The cost for a home IAQ inspection ranges from $275 to $375 depending upon a home's location. The home inspection includes
JEES' IAQ Home Inspection includes:
* Detailed question and answer period with the homeowner regarding IAQ issues.
* Inspection of all rooms in a home, including the basement, garage and attic.
* Moisture content readings of suspect building materials to determine if there is a moisture intrusion problem.
* Observing and notation of any evidence of inadequate attic ventilation.
* Observing and notation of evidence of moisture intrusion in the basement.
* A letter report to the homeowner listing the background information provided to JEES, observations made, list of problem areas and recommendations/guidance for addressing any areas of concern.
If necessary, JEES will provide the homeowner with an estimate for testing of appropriate IAQ hazards. A list of common IAQ hazards is provided below.
